The shorter 14 Day Sugar reset is designed for those who need to cut their sugar intake. It helps stifle sugar cravings and will make reduced sugar a long term habit.

The app offers 100 poses which are incredibly well illustrated and easy to follow. The diagrams and instructions on this app are some of the clearest of the list, and a timer tells you when to transition into the next pose. 

All the classes have been designed by certified yoga experts, so you know that you’re only getting top-level tuition.

We think this might be the best free yoga app for anyone who wants to focus primarily on balance. 

The main classes focus on strength, flexibility, and balance, but it’s the latter that gets the most attention. 

The various poses will help you understand how your body works, and teach you to hold yourself in equilibrium which is, after all, the foundation of all yoga.

This app is more than just yoga poses, it also includes everything a beginner could ask for, such as music, a stopwatch, images, and instructional content. 

When it comes to navigation, this is certainly one of the easiest free yoga fitness apps available - you’ll never find yourself lost amongst confusing menus! 

Users simply select either the beginner or pro programme, and a series of illustrations and instructions begins to play. A timer indicates when you've held a position for long enough, and you can even go back to a previous pose, or skip anything that seems too difficult.

The beginner's programme was our favourite. It’s a gentle introduction to yoga that promises relaxation, strength, and a general sensation of well-being. 

The exercises are easy and the instructions crystal clear, so you can’t really go wrong. The pro program steps things up with a focus on advanced postures and bodybuilding.

Special mention has to go to the music. It’s composed by the famous Manu Om, a big name in the world of yoga and an expert yogi himself. Music plays an important part in any yoga session, and it can really help you focus your mind.

There’s quite a variety on offer. The yoga routines are geared towards fitness, strength, and endurance, but there’s some mindfulness too, and the app promises to help boost your mood.

Workouts are very flexible and range from 5-60 minutes. They cater for every level from beginner all the way up to advanced. Since every class is taught by a certified Nike trainer, you'll be getting some of the best tuition in the world. 

We especially like that unlike some of the other apps on the list, this one doesn’t bombard you with in-app purchases or adverts.

The recommendation system is especially strong. Every exercise helps the app learn more about you, and it will begin to make suggestions regarding your next session.

We found these to be startlingly accurate, and while they won’t always be yoga moves specifically, they’ll always be useful!
