Is It Better To Do HIIT In The Morning or Evening?

Unfortunately, this question does not have a straightforward answer, as the time of day in which HIIT is conducted may be beneficial for some, but not for others. This is entirely subjective to an athlete's personality and the goals they wish to achieve.

For some, using HIIT apps in the morning will be more beneficial as it can kick start your morning with a much needed boost of energy.

Instead, we recommend that you take your time and try out different periods of exercise, in order to see how long you should be personally doing HIIT workouts.

What’s The Difference Between HIIT and Tabata Workouts?

HIIT and Tabata might sound like they’re the same thing, but there are subtle differences that mark them as different from each other. Tabata is a very specific form of HIIT, where you perform 20 seconds of intense activity with a 10-second rest, repeating those 8 times for a total of 4 minutes.

Tabata workouts usually last around 30 minutes, with each 4-minute section focusing on a different exercise. HIIT is more loosely defined, with intervals lasting different amounts of time, but any of the HIIT apps mentioned in the list can also be used as Tabata workout apps!
