- Course Length: 2 weeks (average)
- Entry Requirements: Level 2 Gym Instructor course or Level 3 Sports Massage course, and students must be aged 16+ to enrol.
- Accreditations: The course is recognised by PD Approval.
- Cost: £129, or you can buy a bundle of 6 CPD courses for just £488.
- Study Method: You will complete the Electrotherapy CPD course using our award-nominated E-learning platform. This is taught through a series of videos, online lectures, e-Books and interactive quizzes, which you can progress through at your own pace.
Assessment: In order to complete OriGym’s Electrotherapy CPD Course students will need to complete a series of assessments, progressing through the online course at their own pace.

Upon completion of OriGym’s Electrotherapy CPD course, you will be fully equipped with a wide range of electrotherapy techniques to help your sports massage clients.
If you’re not already, take OriGym’s Level 3 Sports Massage Course to start a career as a sports massage therapist.
If you’re currently a fitness instructor and want to start training clients on an individual basis, we recommend taking a Level 3 Personal Trainer Course with OriGym to take the next step in your career.
The Electrotherapy course is taught online, so if you have a physical disability this shouldn’t impact your learning experience. We would advise you to speak to a member of our careers team so we can make the course as accessible to you as possible.
You’ll be glad to know that our Electrotherapy CPD is recognised by PD Approval.
You can enrol on the course if you hold a Level 3 sports massage qualification and or a Level 2 Fitness Instructing qualification.
The course requires you to complete 12 hours of guided learning and takes the average student 2 weeks to finish.
There are several modules for you to learn from, including:

By the end of the course, you will be able to understand the concept of electrotherapy, its history, the link to the pain gait theory, contraindications and precautions, the types of electrotherapy and common injuries that it can be applied to.
