Meet Anne-Sophie Muddiman, Lead Tutor for OriGym's Yoga qualifications in Birmingham:
Growing up in Switzerland I was lucky enough to be introduced to Skiing and Snowboarding from a young age. Having been passionate about sport and fitness from age 5 onwards, I pursued a career in fitness as both a Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer at age 18, and I haven’t looked back since.
After working as a certified teacher and trainer for 6 years, I decided to push myself even further, returning to my studies to complete a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation and Sports Conditioning. I found a new passion for Powerlifting, and even completed my British Powerlifting Coaching qualification before going on to spend 3 years coaching and competing Powerlifting as an U63 lifter.
Since I started working at OriGym, I have really enjoyed helping aspiring fitness professionals ans yogis to start their journey towards a successful career in the fitness sector.

No, you don't need any prior qualifications or need any pre-requisites before starting a Level 3 yoga course. If you're looking to become a Master yoga Teacher, you would need to have either completed the Level 3 first, before progressing onto the Level 4 in yoga or purchase both courses together as part of one of our bundle offer.
yoga qualifications are assessed through a combination of online theoretical examinations that are open book, coursework and assignments and a final practical based assessment. This structure of assessment is the same for both the Level 3 and Level 4 in Yoga.
If you have paid in full, via finance or you have paid off your in-house payment plan, your certificates will be sent to you via email upon completion within 4 weeks. If you are on an in-house payment plan, but still have payments outstanding your certificates are only sent once you have cleared the remainder of the balance.
Both yoga courses are studied via blended learning with online components, therefore your academic ability, past and previous knowledge of yoga and human anatomy, as well as the amount of work you put in will play a key role in how fast you will qualify. On average it takes students 12 weeks for each level to pass, but it can be done far quicker.
OriGym is the only training provider in the UK where you can re-site both theory and practical based assessments free of charge without putting a limit on how many times you can re-sit assessments. We do not feel its ethically correct to financially punish our students for failing an assessment.
No, qualifications are for life. Sometimes there are industry wide updates that come from Ofqual, who set standards across the vocational sector, but this does not mean that you need to re-sit your qualification, you simply may not need to complete the missing modules.
