Meet Your Lead Tutor: Kate Reece
Before coming to OriGym, Kate was a professional dancer for 20 years. In that time she trained as a Barre instructor in 2013 and followed this passion for teaching on to complete her yoga teacher training in 2014. It felt very natural with her career as a dancer to be teaching in a studio and this is still an extremely rewarding thing for Kate.
I find teaching extremely rewarding! I love being able to share my knowledge and passion with students, not only regarding yoga but all things fitness and health related.

If you’re starting our Level 3 Yoga Diploma there are no prerequisite courses or qualifications you have to complete. However, our Level 4 Certificate in Yoga Teaching is an advanced course and so you’ll have to complete the Level 3 beforehand.
You can combine both of these courses in one of our packages to save money on both!
The practical element of our yoga courses in London take place in our dedicated studio in Southbank Club, just a 2 minutes walk away from Nine Elms tube station, opposite Temple Court housing.
Our workshops are at least once a month and rotate in terms of which week they’re in so that you can book sessions alongside your other responsibilities and fit them into your existing schedule!
Our London yoga teacher training is assessed with both online coursework and open-book examinations and a planned practical session. You’ll complete a full class that you’ve planned and paced to include seated and standing asanas.

There’s free parking in the nearby Sainsbury’s for up to three hours as well as pay and display cycle parking on Wandsworth road in certain bays 10am - 4pm on weekdays.
