LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN YOGA

How You’ll Be Assessed

All students will need to complete both theoretical and practical assessments to pass the Level 3 Yoga Teacher Training Course. 

The theoretical assessments are all open-book and multiple choice, and are completed via our E-learning platform. Whilst the practical assessments are held in our training venues in a wide range of locations across the UK. You can select a time, date and location to suit you. 

The assessments for the Level 3 Diploma in Yoga are:

• Yoga Anatomy & Physiology - assignments and online exam
• Principles of Health and Fitness - assignments and online exam
• The Moving Body - assignments and online exam 
• Supporting Clients - assignments
• Applying Yoga Philosophy - case study and practical
• Plan and Deliver a Meditation Session - case study and practical

Here at OriGym, we offer unlimited and free resists to all our students, so you can try again if you do not pass your assessments the first time.

Study Options

OriGym’s Level 3 Yoga Teacher Training Course is taught via a ‘blended’ study method. 

This combines the flexibility of online learning with the benefits of in-person workshops to give you practical teaching experience.

As soon as you enrol, you will have access to our E-learning platform where you will work through a series of modules with assessments at the end of each one. 

During the Level 3 Yoga Teacher Training Course, you will also have access to support from our expert tutor team, 7 days a week via phone, email or chatbox. 

The practical in-person workshops are run from locations across the UK, all of which are easily accessible by public transport. 

These workshops are an opportunity to develop your asana practice, learn hands-on adjustments and gain practical teaching experience, as well as interacting with your tutors and fellow students.

Careers And Progression 

Upon graduating from our Level 3 Yoga Teacher Training Course, you will be fully qualified to operate as a yoga teacher in both freelance and contracted capacities. 

As an internationally-recognised qualification, you could even work as a yoga teacher abroad!

Career Progression Routes

Our Level 3 Yoga Teacher Training Course gives you a solid foundation of skills, knowledge and experience to progress as a yoga teacher. A great natural progression is to enrol on our Level 4 Yoga Teacher Training Qualification. 

This builds on what you have already learnt on the Level 3 course, as well as allowing you to specialise in a specific type of yoga. In doing so you can increase your employability, and charge more for your classes as an expert in a particular field. 

What You’ll Learn

OriGym's Level 3 yoga teacher training course covers over 400 hours’ worth of both theoretical and practical content. 

You will complete the theory work online with the support of our qualified tutors. Whilst also attending regular practical workshops in various locations across the UK.

• Anatomy & Physiology for Yoga

This module is all about understanding how the human body works, including how various systems interact with one another during yoga. You will also learn which muscles are used in each asana to inform your teaching. 

• Health and Safety During Yoga

You will become familiar with ‘RIDDOR’ (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) and your duty of care as a yoga instructor. This includes learning how to maintain equality and diversity whilst teaching, recognising and handling complaints, what to do in situations that may arise during a class and how to keep records effectively.

• Planning a Level 3 Yoga Session

Learn how to plan and deliver a yoga session for both individuals and groups, taking into consideration the sequence and structure of the class. The module also covers how to adapt your teaching style for special populations such as pregnant women, children, the elderly, and those with disabilities. 

• Delivering a Level 3 Yoga Session 

Discover important teaching techniques for delivering a yoga class, including how to instruct effectively, motivate and build rapport with students. This knowledge will build your confidence when teaching both groups and one-to-one students.
